Each day starts with playtime in the sports gym, includes a healthy snack and ends with an art project. Learn Useful Skills at These NYC Summer Camps!
Chelsea Piers offers summer day camps at both the Field House and the Sports Center for kids of all ages. For young children the Field House has various types of camps from golf and hockey to junior gymnastics and ice skating. Children will have a blast learning from expert instructors in their chosen sport or activity.
Older children will have fun learning skills such as rock climbing, volleyball, swimming and other sports training while also building confidence, improving communication skills and learning teamwork. The Urban Adventure camps are great for kids 13 through 16 years old.
Party entertainers or workshop teachers
Improv 4 Kids will travel to your location and will entertain your party, no matter what its purpose is. Booking this troupe can cost from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand but it mainly depends on your requirements. All shows are personalized as to fit in any budget.
The staged shows are fit for kids up to the age of 12 and they need some 30 minute preparation. You can book Improv 4 Kids for a workshop at your chosen location.

Choose your party package
The birthday parties are organized on site, thus you can’t have it at home. Usually the parties are held on weekends, starting with Fridays at 4PM. Party goers receive a t-shirt and a drawstring backpack and the RoboFun staff will provide the balloons, decorations and full supervision. The birthday packages include a pizza party.
The fee for a 2 hour party for kids between grades 1 and 6 is $725 for up to 12 kids, in the Lego Robotics package. Depending on other party details, this fee will change while other party packages will have different fees.
Camping or having a party?
The kids can enjoy various day camp programs, and the most popular one is swimming. Other available camps are for art, sports and a traditional one. The traditional camp involves activities from the other day camps thus is good for those kids that simply can’t stay still.
The Y is a great association that can help a family get together and spend some quality time, be it at a birthday party or at a camp or weekend getaway.
