The Horse Heaven in Long Island!
Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard is a horse rescue sanctuary. Their mission is to save the American horses from slaughter. They have saved more than 20 horses and miniature horses since 2007, when it all started. You can see them all in the beautiful bucolic setting of the farm.
They hold pony rides every weekend from Memorial Day till mid-November, from 12 - 5 pm. Pony parties can be arranged during the week and on weekends, too. For $399 on weekdays and $499 on weekends you can have a 20 kid party with unlimited pony rides, face painting, food, and craft & cowboy hats for every child at the party.
Pony parties and riding lessons in Long Island!
Jamesport Saddle Club, aka Little Red Barn, located in the beautiful North Fork, houses an animal farm specially designed for children's parties and pony camps. Children 3-8 years and even older are welcome here for English and Western riding lessons and pony parties for their birthdays. They will learn how to groom, tackle and ride the friendly ponies and horses.
If you wish to bring the party to your house in Long Island, Little Red Barn can make it happen! Prices start at $250 for a one hour party with one pony. For the whole petting zoo you will have to come to the farm, but the trouble is worth the while. You'll have a beautiful setting with picnic tables and the kids will get the chance to meet the dwarf goat Lucky, a guinea pig, Lionhead bunnies and other sweet animals.
Ponies in Your Backyard!
Not only ponies, but also rabbits, chickens, ducks, sheep, lambs, goats and a llama can be invited to your child's birthday party! Prepare to be amazed and to give your child a memory he/she will never forget. They can ride, pet and feed the ponies (the food is included in the price).
Ponies will come to your house in a special outfit: cowboy or princess style. They have special designed carriages which the children can ride in and have lots of fun! Ponies, ducks, bunnies, chickens, and a miniature donkey can all be petted and fed during the petting zoo. Or you can just have the pony party with one dressed up pony in your child's favorite color: red, blue, pink, purple or green.
The one hour party is held in the presence of the knowledgeable staff of the Tack'n'Go Farms. The party includes favors for the kids (up to 20 kids) and unlimited rides. All for only $225.
Fun and Games at the Animal Farm!
