The Bradford House

The Bradford House in PA had its hard times. It has suffered the greatest damage when they converted it into a furniture and coffin store in the early years of 1900's. And in the year 1959, the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission has assumed control and responsibility of the house and has supervised the restoration of the house to have it back to its original 18th-century design. The Bradford House is again furnished as it would have been at the time it was built.
The furnishings of the house in PA is also reflecting Bradford's place and superiority in the society. The landscape work in the rear of the Bradford house has led to the discovery of an old well.
