Sushi of Gari in its original location on the Upper East Side is a place to go if you want to try the most inventive, avante garde sushi dishes. 

The restaurant is relatively small and cozy, yet it is not too difficult to secure a reservation if you book a table around a week in advance. Their tomato salmon is their number one selling item, for good reason, you will never have sushi like it.
