Explore the Wilderness
Spring Creek Park is located in Northern Jamaica Bay, in Brooklyn, and contains the largest portion of untouched marshland in the northern Jamaica Bay area. This nature reserve is a shallow tidal wetland of about 20 square miles in area, situated between Brooklyn and Queens. The Park’s large salt marsh is home to a wealth of wetland wildlife, including great blue herons, red-winged blackbirds, and mallards, as well as animals such raccoons and muskrats.
The park features a cricket pitch, a running path, a bike path that links to the Shore Parkway bike system, and an impressive walkway along the wetland. Come and explore one of America's last wildernesses.
