About the cave system
Laurel Caverns is a large natural cave that is located around 50 miles south of Pittsburgh. The unique passages of the cave form a labyrinth, whose ceilings are between ten and twenty feet high (on many locations even 50 feet high). This unique natural wonder is situated beneath a 435 acre private geological preserve.
