Visit  Midtown West Areas for Kidville
This interesting area of New York,  known for the backdrop of West Side Story, is located near the Actors Studio Training School and known to be a home of actors who are still learning the craft. Many famous celebrities have called this area home, including: Sylvester Stallone, Rip Torn, Charlton Heston, Burt Reynolds, Jerry Seinfeld, and Madonna, to name a few.

Zoning, which was in place to preserve low-rise architecture, has been relaxed in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. This has led to a building boom, with this area benefiting, leading to construction of The Hearst Tower, Howard Johnson's Motel, and The Link. This area may not have a reputation for being brand new and shiny, but it is worth a visit to Kidville, for a first birthday party in New York.
