Staten Island, Home to Theaters & Museums, Makes it one of the More Interesting Spots to visit in New York
The St. George Theater, a popular art center, hosts several tours, educational programs, concerts, etc. throughout the year.  There have been many celebrated musicians who have performed here:  Jonas Brothers, Tony Bennet, The B-52’s, to name a few.

If you enjoy visiting museums, this is your place!  From the Children’s Museum, to the Museum of Tibetan Art, there is something here for everyone to see. Sometimes called “the forgotten borough,” SI is less populous, 2013-03-01and with its walkable wooded areas and parks, mirrors a rural time, long gone from New York City.
