Brooklyn’s Green Oasis
East River State Park is a waterfront park placed along the East River in Brooklyn. It covers an area of seven acres and offers memorable views of the East River and the Manhattan skyscrapers, great playgrounds, and plenty of green spaces which are excellent for a family picnic. In addition to the great views, the park offers many opportunities for passive recreation, barbecues, and native meadow plantings among the historic rail yard remnants.
