Carnegie Museum of Natural History is collecting and preserving the specimens and artifacts that will document the history of the life and the human cultures. In order to do this, the Carnegie Museum of Natural History scientist has travelled to the Caribbean island of Hispañola wherein the scientist discovers a new species of never-before-seen moth. He then brought the moth back to to Pittsburgh and studied it and eventually put it on display. In this museum in PA, there is a child wowoed by the huge specimen with a very colorful wings and learned how the scientist can use the moth in order to determine the conservation strategies for the the Hispañola’s endangered ecosystems.
