The area known as Gramercy Park, is named after a privately-owned park, in the center of the area
Only residents around the park, who pay an annual fee, are allowed admittance; this is not open to the public, making it a more gentile venue, than some other parts of the city. Parts of this area have been called, "the beautiful block" because the architecture and pristine neighborhoods make this a nice stroll, to view the maintained buildings.
There are some cozy places to eat and shop; nothing says fun like Big Daddy’s Restaurant! Open every day, with prices starting at just $4.00, you'll come back again and again. But generally, this area is not as bustling as other parts of the city.
