The list of permanent exhibits includes the fossil halls, which feature the museum's two famous dinosaur halls.  Behold the largest collection of vertebrate fossils, totaling almost 1 million specimens!  More than 600 specimens consist of actual fossils and not artificial casts.  Other wonderful permanent exhibits include The Millstein Hall of Ocean Life, the Arthur Ross Hall of Meteorites, and The Gottesman Hall of Planet Earth.
