See NYC from a New Perspective!
This 1.45 mile green walkway is built on what used to be an elevated railway track winding through New York City's lower west side. Home to a wide array of shrub and flowers, this NYC garden is a great place to get away from the noise of the streets below or spend a quiet lunch break.
When you visit yyou will see many wild flowers, grasses, vines, shrubs and trees planted and arranged by professional landscape artists. Inspired by the wild self-seeded plants that grew there between 1980 and 2006 many of the plant species are local wild varieties. The High Line is open 365 days a year and is free to visit.
