Staten Island's Top Urban Zoo!

See bush babies, otters, cobras and sloths at this 8 acre urban zoo in Staten Island. Though modest in size this zoo still manages to be home to over four thousand animals and two hundred species. Outside pens and habitats are home to owls,red pandas, emus and otters among others. Most of the zoo's exhibits and pens are indoors, so this is a great place to visit even on a rainy day.

See the Reptile wing where you can view rattlesnakes, cobras and monitors or stop by the aquarium section to see puffer fish and turtles. This family friendly zoo has a children's center where kids can learn more about their favorite animals. This zoo is open 7 days a week year round except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
