See Wildlife Up Close!

Located within Brooklyn's Prospect Park, this small zoo has hundreds of animals of all types. You will love walking through this Brooklyn Zoo's Discovery Trail and spying out kangaroos, prairie dogs and red pandas in a habitat very similar to their native homes. Stop by the sea lion court and see a feeding or watch these playful animals hop and swim or meet the zoo's mascots - Hamadryas baboons which are an entertaining group to watch.

On weekends visitors can attend "Keeper Chats" where they get to ask zookeepers questions about animal care, habits and more. Animal Encounters in the zoo's theater let visitors get right up close to all sorts of zoo animals - sometimes you may even touch them! This zoo is open 365 days a year.
