Take a Day to Visit America's First Zoo!

This exciting zoo in Philadelphia is home to one and a half thousand animals from all around the globe. In addition to exhibits broken up by world region, the zoo has several special themed exhibits such as Big Cat Falls, Creatures of Habitat, Carnivore Kingdom and Bird Valley.

Children and adults alike will have a good time walking around the zoo's beautiful grounds and finding their favorite animals. Take a ride up in the Zooballoon and see what the Philadelphia Zoo looks like from 400 feet in the air! The zoo is open year round; admission is $18 for adults and $15 for children ages 2-11.
