Enjoy Fun Bike Rides in Upstate NY!

Explore the Old Erie Canal via bike at Old Erie Canal State Historic Park!  The 36-mile stretch of the 363-mile canal has been designated a National Recreational Trail by the National Parks Service.  The terrain is perfect for hiking, picnicking, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, snowmobiling, and biking. 

The park's trail runs between Dewitt and Rome in Central NY, and mainly consists of stone dust and gravel surfaces.  A map and directions are available on the website.  Nearby campsites include Green Lakes State Park and Verona Beach State Park.  Stop by the historic park today and ride one of the coolest bike trails in Upstate NY!
