Oldest Museum in New York!

New York's first museum, founded in 1804, this museum and library is an amazing collection of artifacts, art, documents, photographs and more. On display here are enthralling exhibitions which highlight figures or time periods in New York and American history. There are many things to do and see including a historical scavenger hunt for visitors and a moving photography exhibit of photos from the September 11th Attacks.

Visit the museum restaurant for a nice rest from your historic explorations or drop by the museum store to find unique gifts, limited edition prints and much more. This NYC history museum is open Tuesday through Sunday. Adult admission is $15.
