A gorgeous county park in Honeoye Falls, NY; Mendon Ponds Park is the largest park in Upstate NY's Monroe County and was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1967.  Known locally as a top bird watching destination, you'll find a multitude of birds in the park's wetland areas.  Species include the wood duck, red-winged blackbird, blue heron, Canada goose, Virginia rail, sora, and the American coot.
