Aquarium of Niagara

Discover a World Under the Oceans!

For nearly half a century the Upstate NY Aquarium of Niagara Falls has been enthralling visitors and educating people about the animals that live in our seas and oceans. A great place to take the family, you can view a  large range of salt and freshwater fish including sharks, moray eels, sea stars, seahorses, piranhas and more!

 

Watch a show or training session put on by the aquarium's California sea lions and trainers. If you time your visit correctly you can watch penguins or sharks being fed or can feed seals yourself - see the schedule on the website for more details! This fun Upstate New York aquarium is open year round from 9am to 5pm.

Aquazoo

A Favorite Stop on Family Road Trips!

This small aquarium in Upstate NY is one of the only family owned and operated public aquariums. Located near the Thousand Islands, this is a great place to stop by and see the fish and other sea creatures. Over 50 exhibits and tanks show off sea animals from around the world -  fish of all sizes, crabs, lobsters, lionfish, anemones and coral are on display and have been delighting visitors for over 15 years. If you'd like to see any of the animals fed, just ask!

 

Get an up-close and personal look at the shark - much closer than you could ever get in a larger aquarium. See the Aquazoo's two alligators chow down on some mice or watch their toothy grins through the glass of their tank. This Upstate New York aquarium is open 10am - 5pm Monday through Sunday.
