Free Admission Ice Skating in NY!

Located within New York's famous Bryant Park, Citi Pond is the first and only free admission ice skating rink in Manhattan.  The pond remains one of NY's most treasured winter destinations, attracting tons of locals and tourists each year.  Enjoy a wonderful day of skating with the family or skate under the stars with your special someone.

 

Citi Pond is also perfect for holiday and corporate events.  If you don't know how to skate or look to brush up on your skating skills; instructors are available for private, semi-private, and group lessons.  The rink is open daily between October 27th and February 26th.  Skate rentals are $14.00, and you're given free use of lockers.

Lasker Ice Rink

If you want to spend your spare time in a fun and enjoyable way, and acquire a useful skill at the same time, come to Lasker Skating Rink in NY. Discover the fun side of the sport and enjoy a safe and challenging hockey or ice skating experience. Lasker Rink Skating School starts from November and runs through March.

Lasker Skating Rink also offers exclusive and non-exclusive arena rentals, which makes it perfect for birthday parties, corporate outings, photo or film shoots, family outings, broomballs etc. It’s not necessary that you rent the whole facility; you can reserve as much of the space as it suits your needs. The prices are $75/hour (two hour minimum) for standing room only and $100/hour (two hour minimum) for tables and seating. Call and make your reservations.

Liberty View Rink

Great Ice Skating Experience
If you are looking for winter fun for your family, visit Liberty View Rink for some of the most enjoyable ice skating in NY. At Manhattan's newest rink, located in Battery Park City's Robert F. Wagner Park boasting magnificent views of the Statue of Liberty, families can glide around the rink during two-hour-long public skate sessions, do figure skating and play hockey. You can also organize a birthday party or any other type of gathering.
 
The rink is open seven days a week November to mid-March. Prices: general admission $10, skate rentals $5, spectator admission $5, skate sharpening $8. There is also a snack bar and Spectator Areas.

Rockefeller Center Ice Rink

Ice skating at Rockefeller Center is a quintessential New York City winter experience. The rink was built in 1936, and ever since millions of New Yorkers have skated here in the shadow of the city's most famous Christmas tree. The rink stays open from October through April, and offers one of the best ice-skating experiences in New York. 

 

You don’t need skates or reservations to skate here. You can drop by any time and rent a pair of skates for a spin on the ice. You don’t even need any experience since you can book a half-hour private lesson for $30 per person which includes one hour of skate time. Sky Rink at Chelsea Piers

For some of the best ice skating experiences in New York, head for the Sky Rink at Chelsea Piers. The rink offers a wide variety of activities to entertain visitors of all ages. It welcomes skaters of all ability levels for general skating, figure skating, hockey training, league play, and more.

The rink is open to the public for general skating Monday and Friday 1:30 pm – 2:20 pm, Saturday and Sunday 12 pm – 3:50 pm, year round. Days and hours may vary depending on the season, so check the website for more information. Admission is $10 for all ages. There are also skates and helmets available for rental.

Trump Rink

Working hours: Monday and Tuesday 10am – 2:30am, Wednesday and Thursday 10am – 10pm, Friday and Saturday 10am – 11pm, Sunday 10am – 9pm.
